It's been a while. Sorry. I'm officially done at Saline next Thursday. I'm exhausted from doing next to nothing today. Next week I clean out my office. I can't wait for it all to be done, honestly. As someone said to me yesterday, "Things have gotten really toxic." Amen. I'm burnt out and my art has suffered for it all year.
I have a slew of projects on my plate and I plan to finish all of them as soon as i don't have to go to work anymore. Anthea and I have not worked on our record since I spoke of it last. I have tracks that I freeformed months ago that need to be played with and mixed. Goossen and I did a record together that I need to mix. I dug up some older material we did around 2000-01 that I need to mix too. Even some stuff with Toth that was stellar. Plus I'm remixing the Ladder Jak record Goossen and I recorded for those guys back in the mid 90's. I have a lot to do.
All that plus teach myself Unix and basic electronics, get my fall school schedule done and paid for, get on unemployment, and then get my mortgage taken care of. Ugh. It's a big hassle, but I'm really happy to be going through it. It's just scary.
BTW I'm looking for a roommate too.
